We deployed SET Agent to enable brokers to onboard in an all-digital experience. The platform was configured with the client's background check requirements, producer agreements, commission schedules, and E&O requirements. Now, onboarding a new producer takes less than 10 minutes and automated data collection from NIPR and OFAC makes sure compliance is ensured.
We deployed the SET Agent and SET Sales modules to support the client’s vision. The fully digital process enables producers and group administrators to simultaneously participate in the set-up process, including quoting, plan selection, open enrollment timing, premium payment method, group application signature, and more. Once a group is onboarded, all policy documents, sample certificates, and other fulfillment is immediately available in the group’s portal.
Leveraging the SET Agent module, licenses, appointments, E&O coverage, and OFAC and OIG status were organized into a simple-to-navigate portal that alerts the Agency Principal and Admin when an item needs attention. The team is able to easily filter agents with compliance issues and take action.
Silver Eel Technology platforms include a built-in Auditor user role designed to give 'view-only' access across the platform – allowing users to see – in real-time – what is happening on the platform. Auditor users can see producer details, including demographics, licenses, and appointments, as well as commissions and books of business. Auditor users can also see policyholder details, including coverages, policy documents, payments, employees, and dependents as well as the itemized invoices and associated payments. Access is controlled by the client – and can be issued for specific amounts of time - for example, a day, a week, or other defined period.
We quickly configured the SET platform to enable the client to bring their product to market at a fraction of the time and cost had they done so internally. The solution included an all-digital agent onboarding process allowing agents to self-select and become contracted to sell the product; an e-commerce solution enabling the product to be sold via the web; subscriber and broker portals for users to access their information; data exchanges with the carrier for sales, premium and claims files; product management and customer service access for the client to configure and update plan options, rates, documents and more.
